Welcome to the New Mowasat Hospital website, I would like to share with you my pride of earning accreditation from the CCHSA (Canadian Council of Health Services Accreditation),
In a hospital setting, quality takes on a variety of meanings;
It encompasses technical excellence.
It is also about patient-centered approach to care delivered by the dedicated professionals in NMH.
In addition to having the technical and clinical expertise to provide safe, high quality care, it is also critical that the hospital focus on other factors in a patient’s hospital experience.
NMH has always been a quality driven facility. Many years ago I asked how we really let the people of Kuwait know that we were a quality driven organization. I found the answer to my own question, accreditation by an international hospital survey organization. All our dreams can come true – if we have the courage to pursue them.
Now, we are accredited, but the work has just begun.
In 2008 we are focusing on Customer Service. We want to improve all aspects of our relationship with our patients, visitors, vendors, and staff.
We have embarked on an aggressive expansion plan within Kuwait. This year NMH will open our first Preventative Center in Al Manshar Mall Kuwait. The Center will have six clinics to serve the community including family medicine, dermatology care and pediatrics. It will also offer state-of-the-art diagnostic services and pathology. This is a new and unique concept in Kuwait and keeps our tradition to be a leader in healthcare. The concept will be replicated in additional five locations within Kuwait with a total of six facilities plus the main hospital and Outpatient Clinic..
We will soon introduce other much needed services; our new Sports Injury Center of Excellence, Scoliosis Clinic, Sleep Apnea Clinic, Pain Management Clinic, Motherhood Clinic, and Art of Beauty Clinic.
Our expansion in MENA region is on course.
Our VISION is to be a regional health care provider, manager and investor.
