This Department of Internal Medicine uses the state-of the-art technologies and provides a full range of high quality, safe diagnostic and therapeutic Gastro-intestinal Endoscopic procedures, including Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy and removal of Polyps, dilation of esophageal stricture, removal of foreign bodies, endoscopic hemostasis for bleeding ulcers; with special emphasis on ERCP with stone extraction from the bile duct. The unit is also equipped with the latest video endoscopic equipment. Reports are dispatched on the day of the procedure, and video tapes of the endoscopy can be provided on request. Endoscopic procedures are performed under sedation without any discomfort to the patient. A highly equipped clinic is used to perform advanced clinical exams for cardiac checkups. Standard exams include Blood-pressure, Arrhythmia study and resting ECG, more complicated exams which include 24 hours monitoring EKG, Eco-Cardio Doppler study or stress test EKG are part of the diverse services provided. The hospital has four Cardiac Care Units with state- of- the- art equipment for critical cardiac cases.
