In the Al-Mowasat's attempt to maintain its leading role, Al-Mowasat management prepared an ambitious plan for its continuous development of which two stages have been executed for a cost that exceeded 6 million Kuwaiti Dinars. As for the third stage, whose contracts have been signed, it will be aimed at increasing the number of the rooms in the main hospital, developing its equipments and contributing towards equipping the  "Medical Plaza" building that includes the external and emergency clinics.

Moreover, congruently moving with the commitment to keep implementing the best medical services in terms of systems, equipment, and human resources, the Company has signed a contract with the Canadian Council for Health Services Accreditation in June 2006 to work towards the achievement of their accreditation requirements. (The Kuwait government is also working with the same group).

This agreement entitles the New Mowasat Hospital to follow the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation (CCHSA) accreditation process towards certification for the hospital.

The New Mowasat Hospital is now the third healthcare organization in the region to sign this agreement with the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation, after Khalifah Medical City in Abu Dhabi , and Saad Specialist Hospital in KSA.
